Question
We need to remember to thoroughly question everything we hear. Even our news stations are biased, as they only tell their side of the story. Think of a giant rumour mill at a school, or a small town; that is what News stations are. We need to remember to look more into the stories we care about, we do not need to be so dismal in our beliefs of a true hierarchy. We forget to look at the people, and think of only the events, we are forgetting to care. I thoroughly believe this is the end of blind faith, we can not believe everything we hear. Even reputable sources are wrong again and again. Just look at this whole Dec. 21st 2012 thing, people honestly believe the world is just going to end on a certain day. This is not the first time we have been told about these things, some people have lived through several of them. Imagine living in a world where you truly believe the world is going to end, everyone you care about, everything you own, gone. It is a lot of stress to put on an individual. We have this great thing called perception, everyone has their own. We examine things differently because we see things differently; we feel things differently. I do not want people to blindly believe in me, but I want people to truly listen, to think for themselves. The power is ours, yet we continue to give it away as much as we can. The world is a moving place, our world is different every single day. We wake up to a world of possibilities every day yet most have given up on their-selves. I ask people to listen, and ask questions, do not listen and believe. Our hearts can tell us more if only we were to listen without judgement or discrimination. Our hearts do not discriminate our perception of the things around us alters our point of view. I know we can not change over night, but we can all take small steps towards changing ourselves. A change for the better, a change to bring joy and happiness to all. A change for compassion, and honesty, a time to live without judgment, without discrimination. We are all in this together, whether we like it or not, let's try to make the best of it.
